Cambridge Dynamics has delivered a second high precision, servo driven ball screw forming press to B&W to enable the customer to form the top and front casings on the Diamond 800 series of speakers. The machine incorporates many of the features of the larger press delivered earlier in 2016 (see case study- Bower & wilkings K2 press) with a precision motion control system and RFID tool identification and set-up.
Standing in front of the completed press prior to delivery is Brennan Robinson the lead design engineer on the project.
